Blackchrome is excited to announce our partnership with the Deakin Melbourne Boomers WNBL team as an Official Compression Wear Partner.
The Deakin Melbourne Boomers are a professional women’s basketball team that have been a part of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) since 1984. Which coincidently, also makes it the oldest WNBL club and the longest running elite-level women’s sports team here in Australia.
Featuring a new look team, the Boomers are ready for an exciting season ahead. With 9 players returning from last year and 11 players having passed through the Melbourne grassroots system, the team definitely has its local connection running strong.
Two exciting players to watch out for include Opals key player Liz Cambage and Dual Sports superstar Monique Conti.
