Busselton Magpies in their jumpers designed for the Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser.

Busselton Football Club has raised an incredible amount of money for Conquer Cystic Fibrosis – a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organisation.

The club held a fundraiser on June 11 to help raise both funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. It was a huge success and raised over $15,000.

The fundraiser included a special match against Augusta-Margaret River, during which the Busselton Magpies wore special jumpers that were auctioned after the game.

Blackchrome is proud to have partnered with Sportfirst Busselton to design and supply these jumpers, and we’d like to congratulate Busselton Football Club on their inspiring efforts!

More about Cystic Fibrosis (CF):

CF primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. It is caused by a malfunction in the exocrine system, which is responsible for producing saliva, sweat, tears and mucus.

There is currently no cure, but research is being conducted around the world. From birth, a person with CF undergoes constant medical treatments and physiotherapy.
